This wonderful little Midcentury European oak desk or console is incredibly well hand-crafted – not mass produced. The top can be unfastened, slid to one side and flipped open to create a larger table. Perhaps to serve as a games table etc. A beautifully designed, constructed and compact Danish writing desk attributed to Kai Lyngfeldt Larsen, Denmark circa 1960. A very rare piece of Danish design furniture.
It definitely bears a certain resemblance to some Hans J Wegner and Borge Mogensen table designs.
Lovely condition throughout. 90 x 45 x H73cm
